There will be a Boys and Girls C-team soccer organizational and sign-up meeting Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at TCS. We request that at least 1 parent per family be in attendance. At that time all forms may be filled out and submitted with all applicable fees. Forms are posted in the sidebar and may be printed out from this webpage so you can fill them out beforehand. As well as signing up for the program at the meeting, we will describe in more detail our plans for the upcoming season and the program in general.
At present we are arranging to field both younger (K-2nd grade) and older (3rd-5th grade) teams which will each play games once or twice per week. We are tentatively planning for both teams to practice together. The season will begin in March (specific dates to follow) and last through early May.
A C-team application form and a waiver form must be filled out for each player. The C-team fee will be $60 this year.
– Uniforms are covered by the registration fee. Players will be allowed to keep their uniforms (a jersey, shorts and socks).
– These fees do not include soccer shoes, shin guards, wind suits, food, and miscellaneous items. It will be the family’s responsibility to supply these.
The program goals are to begin to develop the Biblical traits of joy in, and gratitude for, physical activity, teamwork, and endurance in our players. A love for soccer, physical fitness and soccer skills will be cultivated. Players will be introduced to the concept of honoring God whether they win or lose.
