From the Librarian!
Welcome to the reading corner of our webpage! My hope is that with the recommended reading lists on this page your children can find books that spark their interest in reading and encourage them to pursue it for a lifetime. I am working hard to show our students that reading is fun so that it becomes something that they enjoy the rest of their lives. On the reading lists I have included a wide range of books for students to choose from. There are some sports stories, books about medicine, plants and much more! We don’t have copies of all of the books on the recommended lists, but I always accept donations to the library! Make sure you also see the link to our library’s online catalog. Here you can search our library’s collection to look for specific titles. Please feel free to contact me anytime at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Reading Record Sheet
We know how difficult it can be to remember what books you have read. Use the following sheet to help keep track of your reading throughout the year. If you’ve got a favorite, keep track of how many times you’ve read it!
Library Wish List
We have an Amazon.com Wishlist for our library. These are books that we would love to have in our library! Hardcover plus “Good”, “Very Good” or “Like New” conditions are always preferred. Other websites to consider purchasing from are www.abebooks.com or www.thriftbooks.com. We do not have wish lists on those sites but the books from the Amazon Wishlist can be purchased from there sometimes.
The summer is a time to enjoy a break from the school routine, but it’s also gives our students time to catch up on some great reading. We challenge students to stay sharp on their reading skills, no matter the grade, and you can use the link below to view our required and recommended reading lists.
