About Us

Understanding the importance of education based on the objective truth revealed in the Holy Scriptures, the 1973 charter members of Trinity Presbyterian Church set out to establish a school that would provide Christian education for local covenant families. The congregation transformed an old teen night club into a beautiful church, providing a class room for the first kindergarten class of Trinity Christian School in 1978. Year by year, grades were added to the school, assisting families in teaching all subjects in the light of God’s Word. In addition, the school continued to develop excellent band, music, physical education, and athletic programs.

Today, the Lord continues to bless Trinity.  Located on a striking 26 acre campus, Trinity Christian School is East Alabama's only classical Christian academy, ministering to families from Lee, Macon, Tallapoosa and Chambers Counties.  There are approximately forty (40) churches from nineteen (19) denominations represented in the student body of kindergarten through twelfth grade has continued to grow.  In December of 2005, the school celebrated the dedication of a new eight classroom addition and state-of-the-art science lab, and in August 2007 dedicated a new parking lot, computer lab, playground, and soccer facility.  The school received initial accreditation in 2012 from the Association of Classical and Christian Schools (ACCS), and accreditation was renewed in 2014 and in 2020.

For over forty years, Trinity Christian School has assisted the parents of our community in educating their children in the discipline and admonition of the Lord by providing a secure Christian environment of classical academic excellence. The Lord has blessed the school with a close knit, spiritually mature, and academically gifted group of teachers to help carry on the work established in 1978. Through the years, the school has ministered to thousands of students. We give thanks to God for the way that He is using the school to disciple the nations, and we eagerly look to the future as we take our next steps. May God continue to bless our school as we seek faithfully to proclaim His Word.
